Tasmanians aged 50 to 64 years to access the NDIS from January 1

Sunday, 30th December 2018

From Tuesday (1 January, 2019), Tasmanians aged 50 to 64 years will be able to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).  This means the NDIS will now be available to help Tasmanians with disability aged 0 to 64 years old to participate more in the broader community, giving them, their families and care givers greater choice and control of their care supports.

The NDIS will greatly improve these people’s lives, with around 10,600 Tasmanians expected to be in the NDIS by June 30, 2019. Read More
